Stealth POS ("Stealth POS," "we," "us," or "our") is a point-of-sale and back-office management platform operated by Stealth Group One LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information submitted through the Stealth POS application, including information obtained when you connect a bank account.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, business name, and login credentials created when you sign up.
  • Bank account information: when you link a bank account using Plaid, we receive account identifiers, institution name, and transaction data (date, amount, merchant name) necessary to reconcile your deposits with daily close records. We do not receive or store your bank login credentials.
  • Transaction and sales data: point-of-sale receipts, daily close summaries, fuel deliveries, and other operational records you enter into the platform.
  • Usage data: log files, IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically for security and debugging.

2. Bank Account Linking (Plaid)

Stealth POS uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. ("Plaid") to enable you to securely connect your bank account. When you choose to link an account, you interact directly with Plaid's interface and agree to Plaid's own Privacy Policy (available at https://plaid.com/legal/#consumers). Plaid transmits bank account and transaction information to us on your behalf.

We use this information solely to reconcile your store's cash deposits against your daily close entries. We do not sell, rent, or share your bank account information with any third party for marketing purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the Stealth POS back-office services you request.
  • To reconcile bank deposits with daily close and sales records.
  • To generate reports and analytics for your business.
  • To send transactional emails (onboarding, password reset, alerts).
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud, and debug issues.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal or business information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Plaid: bank account data is transmitted via Plaid as described above.
  • Cloud infrastructure: data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States.
  • Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or government authority.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Bank transaction data may be retained for up to seven years for accounting and audit purposes. You may request deletion by contacting us at the address below.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections (TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive credentials, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may request to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Disconnect your linked bank account at any time from the app.

8. Children's Privacy

Stealth POS is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at stealthpos.net/stealthpos-privacy with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
